Eyegas (Mopeka) Sonic Grease – 4 Pack
Essential for reliable sonar contact and accurate tank-level readings.
Eyegas (Mopeka) Sonic Grease is applied directly to the black rubber sensor pad before installing the sensor onto the tank. It provides the acoustic coupling required for the ultrasonic/sonar signal to pass effectively between the sensor and the tank surface.
Each pack contains 4 × 1 cc Sonic Grease sachets.
WHEN DO I NEED EXTRA SONIC GREASE?
All new Eyegas sensors are supplied with 2 Sonic Grease sachets. This additional 4-pack is ideal when:
- A sensor is regularly removed and reinstalled
- The existing grease has been wiped or washed away
- A sensor is moved from one tank to another
- Fresh grease is required during maintenance or reinstallation
IMPORTANT: Always apply Sonic Grease to the rubber sensor pad before installing the sensor. Never install or operate the sensor dry without Sonic Grease.
Application tip: Only a small amount is required. Apply the grease to the rubber pad only — it does not need to be spread over the entire underside of the sensor.
